Creating a safe and efficient workspace involves:

  • Placing a damp cloth under the cutting board for stability.
  • Positioning the knife with the blade edge facing inward to prevent accidents.
  • Adhering to these principles regardless of the cutting board material.

Knife Maintenance:

Maintaining sharp knives is essential for safety. A sharp knife:

  • Requires less force, reducing the risk of serious cuts.
  • Ensures precise cutting, preventing slips and accidents.
  • Promotes a longer lifespan for the knife.
